1. Free calculator inputs
The four V1 optimization engines run in the browser. Dimension, weight and cut-list inputs used for calculations are not intentionally sent to PackMize analytics.
2. First-party analytics
PackMize records aggregate page views and product events such as calculator opens, successful calculations, result sharing and Pro interest. The analytics endpoint stores the page path, coarse device/browser category, browser language, referrer hostname, and a country code only when the hosting/CDN supplies one.
Full IP addresses are not stored. To estimate unique visitors, the server creates a one-way hash from network/device request information using a secret that is not exposed publicly. The hash rotates monthly and is used only for aggregate traffic measurement.
3. Cookies and local storage
The public V1 does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Temporary browser storage may be used for interface-only behavior such as dismissing the PWA install prompt during the current session. The protected administrator analytics area uses an essential session cookie when an authorized administrator signs in.
4. Contact
If you email PackMize, your email provider and PackMize's mail provider process the information required to deliver and respond to the message. Do not send confidential shipment, customer or production information.
5. Data selling and advertising
PackMize V1 does not sell personal data and does not run behavioral advertising.
6. Retention
Aggregate analytics events may be retained for trend analysis. Contact emails are retained only as reasonably necessary for the communication and related obligations.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Contact info@packmize.com for privacy requests.
8. Changes
This policy will be updated if PackMize introduces accounts, payments, cloud project storage, advertising or other features that materially change data processing.
